PJ

I have been adopted! PJ & Roscoe will be treated like royalty in their new home in NYC. Their new family will spoil them rotten with all the luxuries NY has to offer.
Words from our foster moms:
Words from our foster mom: Recently I've had the privilege of fostering two darling little Pugs named Roscoe and PJ. They are especially loving and sweet and any prospective adoptive dog parents would be very lucky to have them.
Roscoe is a very handsome little guy with really big brown eyes full of love and PJ is a cutie too. They are both on the smaller side which I think is great because they are easy to pick up and there is more room in my chair for the three of us. From the first night they have been with me they have slept with me and spent most of their time close to where ever I happen to be. They really should be adopted together as they are used to being together and get along so well with each other. I don't know if they are related but I call them my grandson and granddaughter and they act like they are family. They are a lot of fun to be around and easy to take care of.

Sugar
I've been adopted! Courtesy Listing: This sweetie is Sugar, a female pug/chi mix. She is a year and a half old and weighs just over 10 pounds. She is super sweet! She loves to play with toys and chew on bones. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She has a great personality. When she runs, her ears stick straight up, giving her a very comical look. Sugar has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and is negative for heartworms. She is on preventative for heartworms, fleas, and ticks.

Gracie
I've been adopted! Gracie is an adorable little pug girl that had hardly any fur when we got her. She had been left to die with mange so bad that her skin was red and raw. It has taken months to nurse her back to health. We estimate Gracie to be between four and six years old. She has obviously had several litters of puppies but all that is behind her now. She just wants to be loved and cuddled and be someone’s best friend. She has such a sweet and gentle personality and will make some lucky family a loving and devoted companion. She still itches somewhat due to allergies we think. She loves to cuddle under the covers at night next to her human.

Otis
I've been adopted! Otis is a bigger four year old pug boy that came to us with heartworms. His previous owner couldn’t afford the heartworm treatment so turned him over to us. That is why it is so important to keep our pets on heartworm preventative year round. Otis is such a sweet boy who loves to be petted and loved on. Otis has been treated for heartworms and is recovering nicely. He should be kept calm for another six weeks. Since he is not very active he can spend his time with his family rather than being crated. Otis is also a very attractive pug and can even smile. If you are looking for a laid back boy who wants nothing more than to be loved and pampered, please consider Otis. He is a precious boy.

Rosie and Daisy
We've been adopted! Daisy and Rosie are two adorable pug sisters that just had their third birthday, July 2, 2005. These girls are very bonded and must be placed together. Daisy is a bit more shy than Rosie but they are both laid back and loving. They are both a bit on the "fluffy" side right now and could stand to lose a couple of pounds. They were turned over to rescue when their mommy started having some health problems. We promised her we would find the perfect forever home for them as they were very loved in their previous home. These girls have been vet checked, are current on all shots and on heartworm preventative. They will be spayed in the next few days and ready to go make some lucky family loving and devoted companions. If you have been considering a pair that love to cuddle and be held, these babies could be the ones.

Chewie
I've been adopted! Chewie is a precious little guy that is most likely between the ages of three and five. He did not want his picture taken and thought the camera was an evil alien out to hurt him. So the picture we have is not the best. He is a talkative boy and makes all sorts of noises, snuffles and snorts. He was given up because his former mom and dad said he was afraid of their other bigger dog. Chewie is timid and takes a while to get comfortable among strangers and other dogs, although he gets along great with them. After a week he started venturing out more and actually played with a toy. Chewie just had his neuter and had his elongated pallate surgically corrected so will probably be on soft food for a week or so. He really is a darling boy who I know will respond to love and attention. Right now he doesn't seem to know what it is to be held so is a wiggle butt. I have no doubt that in time he will be begging to be on a lap!!
Update: We recently discovered that Chewie has an enlarged heart. It very well could be from the years he spent having breathing difficulties. We have him on heart meds right now and he is doing great but may need to always take them. He still plays and seems fine.

Sasee
I've been adopted! Sasee is an adorable two year old pug girl that had to be given up by her mommy due to health reasons. Sasee had surgery to correct some breathing difficulties, has been spayed, and is current on all shots and on heartworm preventative. She loves to snuggle close to you at night and will make some lucky family a loving and devoted companion. We promised her mommy and daddy that we would find the most perfect pug home for her. She knows how to use a dog door and gets along great with all her foster brothers and sisters.
Sasee has been adopted and will live in Del City has a spoiled and pampered only child. She will have beautiful gardens to lay by and squirrels and birds to watch all day.

Lola
I've been adopted! Lola is an adorable 11 month old Bug (Pug/Boston). She loves to play but when she gets tired she snuggles up to a stuffed animal, wraps her paws around it and sucks on it to go to sleep. She is a very loving and energetic little girl who would love a brother to play with. Lola is somewhat alpha, so needs a submissive sibling. Right now her best buddy is Ajax, a two year old blind pug. She loves to play tuggy with a toy and can jump baby gates with a single bound. She must have a fenced yard with at least a four foot fence. I think she would climb a chain link. She has to be where her people are at all times.
Lola has been adopted!! She will live in Overland KS with her family and Boston Terrier brother.

Milo
I've been adopted thanks to our friends at DFW Pug Rescue Club. Milo is an 8 year old who was surrendered because his mommy passed away. Mr. Milo has his left eye missing since he was a puppy. He has had some type of injury to his leg rear leg and it is shorter than his right leg. He gets around great but does carry that leg when running.
He has an elongated soft palatte which is being surgically corrected and he'll be neutered at the same time. This is a very loving and gentle boy who will make a wonderful addition to someone's family.
Update on Mr. Milo: Mr. Milo had his surgery to help him breathe better, has been neutered, and is recovering nicely.
Thanks

Frank
I've been adopted thanks to our friends at DFW Pug Rescue Club! Frank is an adorable fawn boy that is only a year old. He is very puggy looking but we know he has something else mixed in. Most likley has some terrier in him. He loves to play and seems to have boundless energy and can jump over baby gates with the greatest of ease. He is about seventeen pounds but is strong. He loves to be loved on and wants to be wherever his human is. Frank would love a submissive sister to play with. He does like to be boss. Frank would also do well with older kids and won't be hurt if he jumps up on them. If you are looking for a young energetic little guy that won't have all the health issues that a pure pug can have, Frank may be the one for you. He promises to be your best friend and give you years of love and kisses.
Thanks

Kasey

I've been adopted! I'm living in OKC with my new mom! Kasey is a very pretty pug mix that was three years old on February 1. She loves to play and is very sweet and loving. She is also a smart little girl, is housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. She likes to give kisses and would love a brother or sister to play with, although she likes to be the boss. .No alpha females for Miss Kasey. She weighs about 25 pounds. Kasey came to us with heartworms, but has successfully gone through treatment.

Joey
I've been adopted! I have a new home in Minneapolis and new brothers to play with! Joey is a pug mix that was hours away from being euthanized at a Texas shelter. He is not more than two years old , most likely younger. Joey is a small boy and came to us with some skin problems probably caused by poor nutrition. He is not very big (maybe 15 pounds) and loves to play.

Bailey & Quincey
We've been adopted! We're going to Pennsylvania to live in a beautiful home with a new human daddy! ... Bailey and Quincey were turned over to rescue by their previous owners when they could no longer care for them. These little (did I say little?) sweeties are now on a much needed diet.

Bubbles
Hooray! I've been adopted by a wonderful pug family in Texas! ... Bubbles is a tiny little 12 1/2 lb. fawn female who has been used as a breeder and is approx. 7-8 years old. She is very cuddly and loves to be with her people. She has been spayed, is up to date on all shots, has had a heartworm test and is on heartworm preventative.

Lucy
I've been adopted! I'm going to live in Denver with a new mom, dad, and 5 brothers and sisters!! Lucy is a precious little two year old pug girl that was turned over by a breeder and has had a rough start in life. She had a breathing problem and her back legs and hips don't exactly work like they should. She had elongated soft palate surgery and had her nostrils widened so she could breathe better. Lucy was born with hip dsyplasia and our vet has recommended no surgery unless she starts having pain sometime in the future. She scoots around the yard and plays just like any other pug and is so sweet and loving. Lucy has no idea she has a handicap so we aren't telling her. She just needs help getting up and down from the sofa or the bed. She loves to snuggle and be close to you all the time.

Puddin
I've been adopted! I've gone to live with my new mommy and human brother and fur brother Skippy in Kansas City. ... Puddin is a sweet senior girl that was found wandering in the middle of the street in a small town in Oklahoma. The people who found her brought her to their home and tried to locate her previous family. No one ever came looking for this sweet baby so she was turned over to rescue. Unfortunately Puddin tested positive for heartworms and although she has undergone treatment, she will need to rest and stay quiet for the next several weeks. In addition, her eyes are not very good and her skin has some suspicious moles that need to be looked at. Despite her health problems, she is a happy little girl that will “talk” to you all the time. She likes to play with your hands and gets so excited when she is with people.

Bandit and Buggy
We've been adopted! We're living in Oklahoma City with a great new family! Bandit and Buggy are two precious little pug boys that were turned over to rescue when their mommy could no loger care for them. This was a very difficult decision for the family and we promised them that these boys would find the perfect forever home together. Buggy will be four years old in October and Bandit turned two in January. Bandit is the bigger of the two. Both boys have been well taken cared of and are sweet and loving. Bandit loves to play with toys and Buggy is a bit more reserved.

Carlton
I've been adopted by a great family in OKC and will have a pug brother named Herbie! ... Carlton is an absolutely adorable little boy pug baby. He will either be one or two on October 9. He was turned in by his owner as someone in the home was not treating him kindly. I can’t imagine anyone mistreating this sweet little man. He is only thirteen pounds and has had some rather extensive surgery. He was not built like other little boys but he doesn’t know that and is recoving very nicely. He will be good as new in a couple more weeks. He gets along great with his foster brothers and sisters, but will let them know if they bother him too much. He has a loving nature and loves to be held and give sweet puggy kisses. He figured out the dog door immediately upon watching another puggie go through it.

Choco
I've been adopted! I'll be living in Wisconsin as an only child! Choco is a really cute little pug/chihuahua mix boy. He is about a year old, and very social. He loves to play with toys and with the other dogs in his foster home. Choco is neutered and fully vaccinated. He is HW negative and has been started on preventative, as well as Frontline for fleas and ticks. To be considered to adopt Choco e-mail us for an application. A home visit is required. If selected to adopt Choco, you must be able to make arrangments to pick him up. We do not ship our dogs. Adoption fee required. Updtate:: Although Choco loves to play, he is too aggressive with some dogs and would do best as the only dog so he can be king of his castle and not have to compete for attention. He loves people and is very loving. He has been to several obedience classes and is doing great.

MR T.
I've been adopted! I'm going to live in Colorado and Texas with my new black Sharpai sister! ... Mr “T” is a young (no more than two) black male pug who came in with a skin infection, due to allergies, we believe, but will be receiving treatments for it. He also has had an eye injury that needs to be addressed. He will be neutered soon, is up to date on shots, was tested for heartworms and is on heartworm preventative. He does appear to have an elongated soft palate, but it is not life threatening. This, too, may need to be corrected, at some later date.

Apollo
I've been adopted! I'm living with in Chicago with my new pug brother. Apollo was rescued from a very bad situation. His previous family did not take proper care of him and he has a very bad skin condition that is being treated. This poor little guy is only two years old and has been suffering with this since a puppy. He is now getting the medical attention he has needed, eating good food and is starting to feel better. His fur is beginning to grow back and we think he is going to be a beautiful boy. He gets along with all the other fur kids in his foster home and is a very good little guy. He loves to be held and given lots of attention.

Blossom
Hooray! I've been adopted! I'm going to Wisconsin and will have a brother name Chancy who is a Boston Terrier. ... Blossom is an adorable bug (Boston/Pug) who was in a high kill shelter in Oklahoma. I can’t imagine anyone not looking for this girl. She is such a loving and sweet baby and very social. She gets along great with her foster brothers and sisters and loves to give sweet kisses. She has very unusual markings and her fur is soft as velvet. I can’t say enough good things about Blossom.

Cindy Sue
I've been adopted! I'll be living in Wisconsin and will have lots of brothers and sisters to play with! Cindy Sue is a seven year old fawn pug that was rescued from a breeding environment. Her back legs don’t work exactly the way they should from her years of confinement in a cage. The most incredible thing about Cindy Sue is that she is blind and has adapted to her world of darkness in such an amazing way. If she hears your voice she can find her way. When she gets confused, she merely sits down and waits for help. She has managed to navigate her foster home’s yard and find her way back into the house and the dog beds. She is a smart little girl that is enjoying her freedom and loves to give sweet puggy kisses. Cindy Sue will need a home that can be patient with her housetraining. Being in a cage all her life, she doesn’t know house rules and needs to learn them. Believe it or not, she now uses the dog door to go outside when I am home.

Rudy
I've been adopted! I'll be living in Chicago with a new mom and dad... and a pug brother named Louie! Rudy is a precious little boy that came from a puppy mill. He is no more than eighteen months old and is lucky that he got out before he was damaged. He was covered in ticks and needing a bath but other than that, seems pretty healthy. He likes to play but if it gets too rough he comes running to his foster mom to be picked up. He is still working on his house manners, but knows how to use a doggie door. He has a calm and gentle nature and gets along well with the other dogs at his foster home. He is crate trained but prefers not to be crated.
Lily
I've been adopted! I'm living with Precious in Chicago with my new mom and dad. Lily is a sweet little (eleven pounds) seven year old black pug girl that was saved from a puppy mill where she was being bred to death. When we got her she was covered in fleas and ticks and her immune system was compromised. She had a fever and if you tried to pick her up she would just flatten herself out as though she was going to be hurt. Lily is getting good food and a clean bed to sleep in and lots of love. In just a few short days she is starting to act like a pug. She now wags her tail and will take food from your hand. She is still shy, but wants so much to learn all about the good in life.

Precious
I've been adopted! I'm living with Lily in Chicago with my new mom and dad. Precious is another mill baby that will be six years old in December. She is a pretty apricot color. She has a collapsed eye that will most likely have to be removed. She needs drops in both eyes every day. After we pulled all the ticks from her and killed the hundreds of fleas that were on her, she enjoyed her first bath. The water turned to mud but she sure felt good afterwards. Precious came in with Lily and two others, but is quite social already. She loves to gives kisses and gets very excited when you pay attention to her.

Max
I've been adopted! I'm going to live in Minnesota and will have two sisters to play with! Max (a.k.a. Huey) is an adorable three to four year old pug boy that was turned in by his current owner who already had a female and didn’t want any more pugs. Max is so sweet and gets along great with other dogs and is just one big happy fella. He has a thick coat and reminds us of a teddy bear. He loves to play with his rubber banana and looks pretty funny carrying it around in his mouth. Max tested positive for heartworms and underwent heartworm treatment. He has been retested as negative and seems like a healthy boy.

Moki
I've been Adopted! - Moki, a 12 pound black pug, was rescued with her dear girlfriend Miss Tessie. She is bit healthier then her companion, but also suffers from splayed legs and a milder stage of tick fever, as well as all the skin, eye and ear infections and worms. Moki was also used for constant breeding, and it seems that her last litter was not so long ago, but she is no longer able to have puppies. She is younger and gutsier than Tessie, and desperately wants to be loved and held. She likes to sit on laps and gives tons of kisses. She seems to have perked up quickly, and isn't as fearful as her older friend, perhaps because she is younger and did not suffer as long as Tess. Moki likes to watch her foster brothers and has even joined in on a small romp through the yard.
Teesie
I've been Adopted! - Miss Tessie, a tiny fawn lady, was rescued from a nightmarish puppy mill with her younger companion Moki. This dear old gal weighs only 10 pounds and was quite ill. Though she was used for constant breeding, she is no longer able to have puppies. Her platelet levels were about 30...they should be in the high 180's plus. Her gums and tongue are whitish instead of pink. Her legs are splayed due to non development of muscles from being crated her whole life. She is very sick and very frightened, with a fifty-fifty chance of survival. We are going to do our best to make her comfortable and loved. Her days will be always happy ones from here on out, regardless of how long she has left in this world. She is already showing signs of enjoying love and being cuddled and held, though it is important that a person moves very slowly around her. She likes to observe her foster brothers, and we think she may be figuring out how to play soon.

Gidget
I've been adopted! Gidget, what a great name for a young, attractive, energetic, slim, female pug. If I lived in California, I would be a hit at the beach and all of the guys would be carrying my surf board. I was one of the secret four that got rescued from the breeding farm by Homeward Bound Rescue but I am now working with DFWPRC to help them find me a new home. I gave them a list of my demands and they are working on locating a home for me. I don't require much, just food, water, comfortable sleeping arrangements, an occasional back rub, plenty of treats, monthly heartworm preventative, treats, an occasional bath, toe nail trim, neck massage once a week, and don't forget the treats.
I am young but do not know my age since I forgot to take my records with me. Look at my picture and see if you agree with me that I am one good looking pug. I have one minor problem that is being taken care of by DFWPRC vets -- I am being treated for heartworms and should be finish with the treatment in a couple of weeks. OK -- come get me and don't forget to bring treats.

Spike
I've been Adopted! Fawn, slim, male, (single), ready to take on the world now that I am no longer part of a breeding farm. Looking for a loving home where I can be the center of your attention. I enjoy long walks in the park, sleeping, eating, bonding with you, gazing into your eyes and showing you how much I love you, did I mention that I enjoy eating and sleeping? Homeward Bound Rescue in Oklahoma saved me from a terrible life and DFW Pug Rescue transported me to Dallas so that could be your love bug. There is just a couple of other things you need to know about me. One of my eyes and my tail is missing. I will tell you the story once you adopt me. Oh yes, one more thing, I am heartworm positive but the vet is treating me and I will be good as new in a few weeks (except for my missing tail and my missing eye) Take a look at my picture and see what a great looking guy I am. Don't be afraid to donate money to help pay for my vet bills.

Frieda
I've been Adopted! What do you call a female pug named Miss Fred??? You don't, you change the name so I thought Frieda would be a good Texas name for me. In Oklahoma, my breeder called me Miss Fred but I no longer live there since Homeward Bound Pug Rescue arranged for me to travel to Texas and become a real Texan. I don't know why but my eye sight is not good. I run into things but I am a friendly pug and you will agree after seeing my picture, -- I am a keeper. I don't know my age but the vet will let DFWPRC know as soon as they check out my teeth. I am getting spayed today so I am available for immediate adoption. Oh yes, I am fawn, female, a little shy, but all pug!
Maggie May
I've been Adopted! Exceptionally good looking female pug looking for a loving home. Since I only have one eye, maybe I am not exceptionally good looking but I am a looker. Heads turn when I walk into a room and my height lets me tower head and shoulders over other pugs. OK, maybe an inch or two. I am fawn, female, and a real lady that does not tell her age. I would tell you but I don't know since I lived in a breeding farm and the nice people at Homeward Bound planned my escape. Four of us escaped at the same time and DFWPRC secret agent, Fred Campos, secretly transported us to Dallas. I am now MAGGIE MAY 003 since there have been two other Maggie May pugs. If you promise to adopt me, I will promise to watch out for you, love you when you are angry, sick, depressed, and even when you are feeling well. I am ready -- ARE YOU?

Muffin
Hooray, I've been adopted!!! Muffin was adopted to a wonderful new mommy in Joliet, IL and now is residing with her new pug brother and sister. She has already learned how to go upstairs!!!
Muffin came to us after being kept outdoors for about 2 years, because she sheds. She had lost her left eye,(cause unknown) and since being outdoors, has gone blind in her right eye. She manages to go in and out the doggie door and up and down steps with no problems. She manages to find her way around the house and yard just fine. Muffin is about 4-5 years old, is very soft and loves to be cuddled. She snuggles very closely in bed with her foster mom. She is current on all shots and has been spayed.
Ozzy Paws
I've been adopted! I'm going to live in Moore, OK with my new pug brother! Ozzie Paws (OZ) was an owner surrender because there were too many small children in the home. Oz has been neutered, is current on all shots and is a beautiful boy who loves to snuggle very close at night. We do not have a birth date for him but we have been told his is 3 years old. He runs and plays with his foster brothers and sisters and will sit and wait patiently for his treats and food.

Chauncey
I've been adopted! I'm living in Ames, Iowa with a new pug family! Chauncey is a puppy mill breeding female that has apparently been bred many times. She came in covered with fleas, filthy and eyes matted so badly, they looked like they would burst. Chauncey has had her vet check, she is now up to date on shots, and receiving eye meds. They have already mad a remarkable difference. She is totally blind, but will run to a gentle voice and loves to be petted and get belly rubs. She has a wonderful personality and will make someone a wonderful companion. Chauncey will need to be spayed and then will be ready for a new, forever home. Only the most special of pug experienced homes will be considered for this special needs little girl.

Patsy
I've been Adopted! Patsy will be living in Oklahoma City with her new mommy and a black lab/whippet sister. Patsy is an adorable little pug mix (Boston/Pug with some other terrier perhaps) that is looking for her new forever home. She is only about nine months old and is very very sweet. She likes to play and can jump pretty high so would need a secure fence. This little girl found herself in a shelter in a small town in Kansas. She has been vetted and will get spayed next week and be ready to go. She would love another young small dog for a companion or a human brother or sister to play with. Patsy only weighs 11 pounds and although she needs to put on some weight and fill out, will remain a small girl.

We've been adopted! We'll be living with our new Mom and Dad and new pug brothers and sisters! Becky and Hucklberry came to us as survivors of a puppy mill. Becky is a tiny little puppy mill girl who has been bred several times. She came in covered with fleas and ticks and was suffering from flea allergies. She is now recovering nicely. Becky is a shy little girl but loves to be held and cuddled. Becky needs her pug brother, Huckleberry to keep her company. Huckleberry is a beautiful 3 year old male. He was also covered with fleas and ticks and had several gashes on the top of his head. Huck is a very friendly and happy boy who wants to be the center of attention all the time. He stays very close to Becky and cuddles with her every night.

Sampson
I've been adopted! I'm living as an only child in Norman, OK. Sampson was a stray that was in a very high kill shelter in Oklahoma. When I first saw him a week ago, he was shaking in his cage and so eaten up with mange and fear that I just wanted to scoop him up and run out the door. But I had to wait the required days before the shelter could release him to rescue. Before I left I promised him that I would be back and a wonderful new life was waiting for him on the other side of that cage. When I picked him up, I immediately took him to our vet. Even as sick as he is, he wagged his scruffy little tail and was happy to see me. The condition of his health was disheartening. Sampson has sarcoptic mange, infected eyes (they were thick with crust and almost shut), worms, and last but not least this poor little guy also has heartworms.
The good news is all his health problems are treatable and curable. Sampson is between three and five years old and is deserving of a wonderful and loving home. He seems to be a very loving and calm little boy. He won’t be ready for adoption until he has completed heartworm treatment and the mange has been cured. This will take at least two months. Only the most special of pug experienced homes will be considered for this special boy. Update: Sampson has completed heartworm treatment and seems to be doing fine. He gets along fine with his foster brothers and sisters but he does have a habit of turning in circles when excited or irritated. This leads me to believe he was caged in a puppy mill and all he could do was turn around. He also makes a lot of growly noises that are his way of “speaking.” Sampson is now learning to trust and loves to have his belly rubbed. He is quite the character!

Grover
I've been adopted! I'm living in Oklahoma as an only child. Grover is an adorable pug wanabee. One of his parents was definitely pug, the other we aren’t sure about. What we are sure about, however, is that Grover is an adorable little guy that is no more than nine months to one year in age. He was found as a stray by a lakefront home in Oklahoma. The folks who found him tried unsuccessfully to find his previous family. Grover even had a collar and seemed to have been well taken care of. Although he could have, he did not run off in the two weeks that he was by the lake home. He stayed on the covered deck, even when no one was there. He seems like a very smart and loyal little guy. Grover is now being treated for erlichia, a condition that is caused from ticks. After he finishes his meds, he will be neutered and ready for his new forever home. He is a sweet boy that is confused right now with his surroundings. Grover is only fifteen pounds and shouldn’t get any bigger. He loves to play and gets along great with all his foster brothers and sisters. Hooray for Grover!

Sarge
I've been adopted!I'm living in Minnesota with lots of Pug brothers and sisters and even a Lab sister! Sarge is very playful for a guy his age. He has some special needs that are very inexpensive and easy to treat. He takes thyroid meds twice a day and needs a medicated bath once a week. He also has a bit of mild arthritis. He has a beautiful wrinkled face and is a very sweet boy. He could stand to lose a pound or two as he weighs 22lbs. Sarge has been very well cared for all of his life and is completely housebroken. He gets along great with his foster brothers and sisters and would do fine with older children. Although he will go in a crate, he would much rather sleep on a pillow on the floor or with his human.

Buddah and Dharma
We've been adopted! We're going to Wisconsin to live with our new mom and dad! Buddha and Dharma just came into rescue because their Mommy is moving and she can?t take them with her. She was going to keep one and did for a couple of days, but decided they should stay together. These sweet babies have been together since five months of age. Buddha is a three year old fawn female and Dharma is a black male who will be three in December. Both are housebroken and very loving. Right now they are confused as to why they are not in their own home but are getting along fine with their foster brothers and sisters. Dharma got so excited when he was reunited with his sister. Buddha could stand to lose a few pounds but they both appear healthy and well adjusted. If you are looking for a pair, you won?t find any sweeter and more loving than these two cutie pies. Only the most special of pug experienced homes will be considered for them. We don?t ever want them to have to move again.

Ellie & Bull
We've been adopted! We'll be living with a wonderful family in Minnesota. Ellie and Bull are two adorable pug siblings that must be placed together. They have been with each other their entire life and are being placed in rescue because their mommy is having a baby. They are both 7.5 years old, have been through obedience training, are good with children, and other animals including cats. They are both housetrained, current on all shots and on heartworm preventative. They are both in good health, active and happy, loving puggies. If you have been looking for a pair that already get along and just want to be loved on, Bull and Ellie may be just the ones for you. They are being fostered in Minnesota and their adoption fee is $350 for both.

Roz
I've been adopted! I'm living in St. Louis with my new mom! Roz just turned three in October and was given up by her previous owners because she was too hyper, jumped on the one year old baby and didn't get along with the other pug in the home. For the last eight months she has been banished to the outside and not allowed to be part of the family. Roz is precious, sweet and loving but she does tend to get jealous if another dog is getting attention. Most of the time she gets along great with her foster brothers and sisters, although a bit stand offish. We were also told she hates to be held or loved on. She craves attention, but has difficulty accepting being held and cuddled. I think that will come in time as she learns to trust more and knows she is not going to be ignored. She loves to give kisses but is still hyper if you pick her up. Every day she gets better about that. Roz needs some help being re- potty trained but is learning quickly. She knows how to use a doggie door and is crate trained although she would rather be gated in an area when her family is not there. This little girl is starved for attention and is enjoying being inside the house where she can feel part of a family again. We are looking for a very special pug home for her where she can be loved and pampered forever.

Punkin
Notes: I've been adopted! I'll be living with my new mom and dad in Oklahoma City!! Punkin is a little pug mix who came in on Halloween day, at the age of 6 weeks. He is very playful and certainly has personality. He romps and plays with his foster friends and knows how to use a doggie door. He has started his puppy shots and will be neutered when he is old enough. Keep this little sweetheart in mind when thinking about an addition to your heart and home.
