December 27, 2003. Someone had
found her as a stray and called us. Tinkerbelle was the most adorable little
pug mix we had seen in a long time. She only weighed 11 pounds and could
fly over any baby gate you put up, hence the name Tinkerbelle. She was such
a sweet little girl and would give kisses all the
time. She loved to play with her foster brothers and sisters and could make
you laugh just by watching her. She was only two years old and seemed perfectly
healthy.
On Sunday, January 18, she became ill. We rushed her to the vet
late afternoon and left her at the clinic so she could get fluids and treatment.
That evening we received a phone call telling us she had passed. She never got to
experience her forever home but she knew she was loved and the last words
she heard were: "I love you Tinkerbelle."
Tinkerbelle: We don’t know
why you were taken from this earth so soon. Guess God needed another angel
and he knew how much you
loved to fly. Now you are running through the meadows with Jake, Puggy, Brody,
Peanut and all the others. Sweet dreams, little girl, until we meet again.
Love,
Gail, Joy and Lisa
